We’ll deliver most items over £300* FREE within 30 minutes drive of the shop.

If you live outside our normal delivery area, we can still organise delivery for you but, depending on the item purchased, may add a small delivery charge.

If your chosen item is in stock, we can normally deliver in 2-3 working days & will arrange a morning or afternoon slot that is convenient for you.

*Free delivery is on most items at normal ticket price of £300 or over. Any exclusions from this offer will be marked on the ticket in store.



We’ll install most items over £300* FREE when we deliver.

As long as your existing electrical, plumbing, satellite or aerial connections are operational & safe, we’ll connect, setup and where appropriate demonstrate your equipment. We’ll guide you through the basic operation & answer any quick questions you may have. For home entertainment equipment we’ll also connect your existing devices, if they have the right sockets, to your new kit too.

*Free install’ is not available on integrated kitchen appliances or networked audio systems or wall mounted TVs (other exceptions may apply). If we are unable to complete the installation due to faulty electrics, plumbing, satellite or aerial connections, there may be an additional fee to re-visit and install.


In addition to the standard installations we carry out, we’re also able to provide more advanced options.

These include the installation of integrated Kitchen Appliances, wall mounting TVs, discreet installation of Home-Cinema systems, mounting of Projectors & Projection Screens & basic set up of networked audio systems such as Sonos or SoundTouch from Bose.

These services are available to anyone but priority will be given to customers purchasing the products from Burdens.

Prices are available on asking & will vary with complexity of install.



Unlike some other retailers, we won’t abandon you after you’ve bought your new TV, HiFi or Home-Cinema System.

Inside your guarantee period, we’ll ensure that your item is repaired as promptly as possible, for Panasonic products we’ll carry out the repairs ourselves. We’ll also provide a loan* where possible.

Outside the guarantee period we’re able to carry out repairs to most brands for private, commercial & insurance customers.

*Where possible we will from our stock provide a loan item while your is in for repair under warranty. Loan item is at the discretion of Burden Electronics & no guarantees can be given on availability.  


We all know that TVs, Home-Cinema Systems, HiFi's & even Domestic Appliances seem to be getting more complicated to use. If you’re confused by your new product or have a question about how to operate a feature that you have never used before, just give us a call* or pop into the shop*.

We’re more than happy to guide you through basic set up problems or tell you how to access that new feature.

For more complicated questions, or if we are unable to help over the phone we can organise a call out from one of our installers or engineers to get you up & running as soon as possible.
